BIGyard - Zanderroth Architekten

The focus of this project was to analyse a renowned cohousing project; in my case BIGyard by Zanderroth Architekten to develop my understanding of spatial adaptability, individual and collective spaces and different housing typologies.

The BIGyard housing collective had a linear collective zone surrounded by individual private units, creating a community within the urban city of Berlin. This project was essential in offering methods of housing and collective activity that would become the inspiration for my final cohousing project.
