Design Studio Gamma

The focus of this studio was on issues of materiality, construction and structures. Honing our study of architecture towards the townhouse brought in new limitations on how we would need to approach the design for our project.

The telescope was the theme for my townhouse for Design Studio Gamma. This theme broadened my understanding of how to achieve a design intent whilst also adhering to strict design limitations. I was able to successfully achieve a telescopic unobstructed view for when users would enter the house, thereby increasing the feeling of space for such a thin plot of land.
